Monthly Food Distribution Previously Adapted to Serve People During COVID-19

GOSHEN, CA APRIL 19, 2023— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) is excited to announce that our popular monthly food distribution event will return to a familiar format to better serve the families of Goshen and its neighboring communities. The Goshen Neighborhood Market returns on Wednesday, April 19th at 9:00am at Mt. Zion Apostolic Church.

Held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, the Neighborhood Market has served thousands of families within the city of Goshen and its surrounding communities over the past six years. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Neighborhood Market filled a massive need for families in Goshen who struggled to get high-quality foods into their homes. At the onset of the pandemic, FHCN was forced to pivot its monthly event into a “drive-thru” food distribution, to promote the safety of community members and FHCN staff alike.

Now, on April 19th, the Goshen Neighborhood Market will incorporate the best of both service styles to distribute fresh fruits, vegetables, nonperishables, and other vital food supplies to people who need them most. Family HealthCare Network staff are prepared to serve as many as 200 families from 9:00am-11:00am, and walk-up registration is available for anyone who needs it. Bring your favorite carts and wagons to stock up on the latest local produce and stop by one of FHCN’s information booths to learn more about our programs and services to help you find the best health care possible for yourself and your family.

Family HealthCare Network will also provide a drive-thru service for our elderly and senior participants, along with premium parking support to make walk-up food selection easier.
