Family HealthCare Network Welcomes New Provider, Destinee Bowden
Bowden’s Specialties Include Women’s Health, Family Medicine, and Psychiatry
VISALIA, CA, MARCH 2023— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) is proud to welcome Destinee Bowden, PA-C, to our women’s health team at our Visalia School health center. Bowden brings a wealth of knowledge in multiple fields of specialty, and a passion toward volunteer work and community service.
Bowden’s earliest exposure to providing quality patient care began as a Geriatric and Pediatric Caregiver for Care.com. In 2014, Bowden earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Medicine from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. Bowden used her degree to pivot into an Emergency Department Scribe position. Bowden received her Master of Health Science degree in Health Care Administration in 2017. Three years later, she received her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. Bowden joined Camarena Health in Madera, CA as a Women’s Health Physician Assistant, where she worked for two years before accepting a position with Family HealthCare Network.
Along with her career ambitions, Bowden has dedicated a considerable amount of time to volunteer work and community service. Bowden’s charitable efforts include time with Ronald McDonald House, ATSU, and the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Bowden says she is thrilled to begin the next chapter of her life in Visalia.
Bowden is now accepting patients at Family HealthCare Network in Visalia at 401 E. School Avenue.
