Family HealthCare Network Kicks Off 2023 Health Fairs with ‘Eggstravaganza’
Popular Easter-Weekend Event is Coming to Sunnyside Elementary in Strathmore
STRATHMORE, CA APRIL 8, 2023— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) is excited to announce the kickoff of its 2023 Health Fair calendar of events, beginning with the return of a beloved local event, Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 8th. Hosted in part by FHCN, Radio Campesina, and Sunnyside Elementary School, Eggstravaganza will usher in Easter weekend with a combination of fun family events and important health services.
As part of National Public Health Week, Eggstravaganza will be free to the community of Strathmore and its neighboring communities. The popular event will feature a children’s egg hunt, family-friendly games and activities, and several free raffles—with prizes including Magic Mountain tickets and two family 4-packs to the San Diego Zoo.
Along with a host of family-fun events, FHCN will also provide several informational booths to share the latest seasonal health education, including our ongoing ‘Rethink Your Drink’ campaign to educate families about the best alternatives to sugary drinks in the heat of spring and summer. Family HealthCare Network will also offer hemoglobin and glucose screenings.
