VISALIA, CA.— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) announces the release of COVID-19 vaccines to Tulare County community members in Phase 1B-Tier 1 with a focus on individuals 65 years and older.
“Vaccines are currently the most effective way of combating the COVID-19 virus, and have been deemed safe by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). We strive to keep our communities and staff safe,” said Kerry Hydash, President & CEO of Family HealthCare Network.
COVID-19 Vaccines will be available at select locations within Tulare County. Patients and community members can register for the vaccine on the FHCN website, fhcn.org, and will be called and scheduled for a vaccine. Family HealthCare Network is following the lead of Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency in the release of vaccines for each tier. At this time the focus will be on vaccinations for individuals 65 and older. Over the last several weeks, FHCN has been administering vaccines to our essential staff members with the greatest risk of exposure, and are excited to begin offering the vaccine to the public. We will begin offering the vaccine to essential workers in the very near future.
