Dhaliwal Brings Experience, Leadership, and Passion for Volunteer Work to Porterville.
PORTERVILLE, CA JANUARY 23, 2025— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) proudly welcomes Amandeep Dhaliwal, OD, to our optometry team at our Porterville Downtown health center. Dr. Dhaliwal brings an established history of quality care and leadership to our patient communities throughout Porterville and Tulare County.
Dr. Dhaliwal’s career in healthcare began at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, where he earned his double degree in the form of both a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Science, Mathematics. Dr. Dhaliwal next chose to continue his education at the New England College of Optometry where he worked to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree. After working at America Best Optical in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Dhaliwal opened his own private practice in Hamilton, Ontario, where he served as an optometrist and even won a Best Optometrist Reader’s Choice award. Dr. Dhaliwal also worked closely with several volunteer groups, including the Special Olympics. In 2024, Dr. Dhaliwal chose to relocate to California and accepted a position with Family HealthCare Network.
Dr. Dhaliwal is now accepting patients at Family HealthCare Network’s Porterville health center at 65 N. Hockett Street.
