Family HealthCare Network Welcomes New Provider, Shushil Sigdel, MD
Visalia’s Newest Hospitalist to Serve Tulare County Patients in Need
VISALIA, CA SEPTEMBER 26, 2024— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) proudly welcomes Shushil Sigdel, MD, a hospitalist serving Kaweah Health patients in Visalia. Dr. Sigdel brings an international reputation for quality care and a passion toward serving the underserved communities throughout Tulare County.
Dr. Sigdel’s career in healthcare began in Nepal, where he first attended Orchid Science College in Bharatpur. He would later enroll at Kathmandu University’s College of Medical Science, where he worked to receive his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. Dr. Sigdel utilized his degree to continuing working in Nepal, serving as a medical officer at Pushpanjali Hospital and B.P Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. He later accepted a senior medical officer position at Himal Hospital. Dr. Sigdel relocated to the United States to continue his education, serving his residency as a physician for the Louis A Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL, where he received the Outstanding Graduate Resident award. In 2024, Dr. Sigdel accepted a position with Family HealthCare Network.
Dr. Sigdel speaks English, Nepali, and Hindi and is now accepting patients at 400 W Mineral King Ave.
