Dr. Alhendy Brings International Experience to Visalia School Ave Site
VISALIA, CA JULY 27, 2023— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) is proud to welcome Mohammed Alhendy, MD, to our pediatrics team at our Visalia School health center. Dr. Alhendy brings a wealth of international experience, with a breadth of skills to serve the medical needs of children in Visalia and all of Tulare County.
Dr. Alhendy’s medical journey began in Cairo, Egypt where he attended the Al-Azhar Faculty of Medicine and received his Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery. After working several years in Egypt, Dr. Alhendy relocated to the United States to continue his medical training in Ohio, Texas, and New York. After receiving his ECFMG Certification, Dr. Alhendy joined NYC Health + Hospitals in Bronx, NY, where he completed his pediatric residency. Dr. Alhendy then accepted a position with Family HealthCare Network, and he says he and his family thrilled to call Visalia their new home.
Dr. Alhendy has been published in four medical publications since 2014, three of which focused on serving the medical needs of children and NICU patients. Dr. Alhendy speaks both English and Arabic, and he is now accepting patients at Family HealthCare Network in Visalia at 401 East School Avenue.
