Family HealthCare Network Welcomes New Provider, Dorothy Worika, FNP-C
Dorothy Brings Career of Excellence in Healthcare to FHCN in Porterville.
PORTERVILLE, CA DECEMBER 5, 2024— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) proudly welcomes Dorothy Worika, FNP-C, to our family medicine team at our Porterville Downtown health center. Dorothy brings an established career as a professional nurse across multiple states, to further reinforce our communities’ access to quality care in Porterville and throughout Tulare County.
Dorothy’s career in healthcare began at the Chamberlain College of Nursing in Houston, TX, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Dorothy continued her education in Arlington, TX, where she attended the University of Texas and worked to earn her Master of Science degree in Nursing. Dorothy served multiple roles throughout the state of Texas including a Nurse Clinician at the University of Texas Medical Branch and a Registered Nurse at Consolidated Pediatric Home Health in Sugarland, TX. Dorothy moved west to Arizona, where she most recently served as a primary care provider with Pine Park Health. In 2024, Dorothy accepted a position with Family HealthCare Network.
Dorothy speaks both English and Yoruba and is now accepting patients at Family HealthCare Network’s Porterville Downtown health center at 65 N. Hockett Street.
