Donaldson Comes Home to Strengthen Access to Quality Care in Squaw Valley.
SQUAW VALLEY, CA, DECEMBER 4, 2024— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) proudly welcomes Makenzie Donaldson, FNP-C, to our family medicine team at our Squaw Valley health center. Donaldson’s cross-country career as a nurse further strengthens our communities’ access to quality healthcare in Squaw Valley and across Fresno County.
Born and raised in the Squaw Valley herself, Donaldson’s career in healthcare began at Reedley College where she received to Associate in Science degree in Biological Sciences. Donaldson joined Sierra View Homes in Reedley as a Certified Nursing Assistant, before choosing to continue her education in St. Louis, MO by enrolling at the University of Missouri; there she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Donaldson joined Community Medical Centers in Fresno, CA as a Registered Nurse before ultimately deciding to further her education at Maryville University in St. Louis, where she worked to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Donaldson also served as an adjunct professor with State Center Community College District in Fresno.
In 2024, Donaldson accepted a position with Family HealthCare Network. Donaldson is now accepting patients at Family HealthCare Network’s Squaw Valley health center at 30924 E. Kings Canyon Road.
