Family HealthCare Network Hosts Cinco de Mayo Kickoff Event in Woodlake
May Health Fair Celebrates Great Food, Local Performers and Cultural Pride on Friday
WOODLAKE, CA MAY 5, 2023— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) is excited to announce its 2023 Cinco de Mayo Kickoff event, as part of its ongoing series of local Health Fairs throughout Central California. Hosted in part by FHCN, Radio Campesina, and the city of Woodlake, the event kicks off on Friday, May 5th at 5:00pm and will include a combination of fun family events, great local food, and important health services.
Family HealthCare Network’s Cinco de Mayo Kickoff will be free to the community of Woodlake and its neighboring communities. Celebrate the crowning of this year’s “5 de Mayo King & Queen,” enjoy the performances of local Ballet Folklórico dancers, and sign up for several free raffles—with prizes including Magic Mountain tickets and two family 4-packs to the San Diego Zoo. Check out our variety of unique beverages as part of Rethink Your Drink Day, established by CalFresh Healthy Living, as a perfect pairing for some of your favorite foods from local food trucks.
Along with a host of family-fun events, FHCN will also provide informational booths to share the latest seasonal health education, and offer free hemoglobin and glucose screenings for anyone in attendance.
