A.T. Still University Medical School
Family HealthCare Network is the California Campus for A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine at Arizona. As part of a unique “Hometown” program, Family Healthcare Network’s program is a unique strategy to identify community residents who want to pursue medical school and return to their hometown to practice medicine.
ATSU’s medical school model has students on the ATSU campus in Arizona for one year. The second, third, and fourth years of medical school are spent in small groups located at a community health center like Family Healthcare Network. As we continue our partnership with the medical school program, we are seeing the emergence of future community physicians.
Physician Assistant Program
ATSU offers Master of Science Physician Assistant Degree Program at FHCN. The entry-level, 26-month program is designed with an emphasis on a strong academic foundation and clinical practice. Faculty and staff work closely with students, developing the professional attitudes and clinical problem-solving skills necessary for optimum patient care.

NYU Lutheran Dental Medicine
Family HealthCare Network is a training site for the New York University Lutheran Dental Medicine (NYU Lutheran) Residency Program based out of Brooklyn, New York. Established in 1988, NYU Lutheran Dental Medicine’s AEGD program turns accomplished dental school graduates into advanced clinicians while residents concurrently provide oral healthcare to vulnerable populations. A unique and exceptional program in concept and design, the AEGD (PGY-1 level – 12 months; PGY-2 level – second year optional) Program at NYU Lutheran Dental Medicine advances a resident’s skills in general dentistry well beyond traditional school-based or clinic-only based programs. The AEGD Program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA) and its affiliated clinical training sites are recognized as approved clinical training sites by CODA.
In this unique program, dental residents gain practice experience in a large group environment, providing oral health care to their patients while working alongside a team of general and dental specialists, hygienists and assistants, physicians, and other health care professionals. LMC Dental has pioneered the innovative concept of a community health center (CHC) center-based postdoctoral dental residency program and is now the largest of its kind.
The dental residency program builds upon more than twenty years of dental programming offered by Family HealthCare Network.
