Strathmore, CA – On Saturday, March 31st, Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) celebrated the opening of its new Strathmore Health Center with a community “Eggstravaganza”. Nearly 300 community members came out and enjoyed tours of the new health center, refreshments, and live entertainment including a children’s egg hunt. Health screenings were also provided during the event. Family HealthCare Network President & CEO Kerry Hydash stated, “The community, local schools, and community organizations have been so welcoming to our organization over the last month that we wanted to provide a community event for families and children to enjoy during the holiday weekend. We hope the Eggstravaganza will be the first of many community events for FHCN in Strathmore.” Partners for the event included Anthem Blue Cross, Porterville Citrus, Radio Campesina, Health Net, the Strathmore Fire Department, and Strathmore High School
The Strathmore Health Center opened on February 26, 2018. The sites interim hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
