Woodlake, CA – For its 16th year, Family HealthCare Network is pleased to present its Annual Woodlake Health & Safety Fair on Friday, May 1, 2015. Presented in partnership with the Tulare County Gang Prevention Task Force’s Step Up program, community members are invited to join Family HealthCare Network for the free event, which will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Miller Brown Park in Woodlake, CA.
Family HealthCare Network staff will be onsite offering free dental, vision, and health screenings for adults and children, including blood pressure, hemoglobin, and glucose screenings. Additionally, fluoride varnish applications will be available for children ages 0-5 and pregnant women. The fun-filled evening will also include free food, raffles, live entertainment, and the Coronation of the Woodlake Cinco de Mayo King & Queen.
Family HealthCare Network will also have Certified Educators and Certified Enrollment Counselors available to assist with any questions regarding the Affordable Care Act and enrollment into Covered California.
Event partners include the Woodlake Police and Fire Departments, Waste Management, Woodlake Unified School District, Woodlake Lions Club, and Woodlake Family Resource Center.
