Dr. Wang Brings Cross-Country Experience to Visalia School Ave Site
VISALIA, CA JULY 3, 2023— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) is proud to welcome Tianyu Wang, OD, to our optometry team at our Visalia School health center. Dr. Wang brings a wealth of experience from across the country, with a breadth of skills to serve the eye care needs of people in Tulare County.
Wang was born and raised in Beijing, China, and relocated to the United States in 2012 to begin her education. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Houston, Wang enrolled at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where she received her Doctor of Optometry Degree. While attending school, Wang also gained experience through several clinical job roles in Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Texas before accepting a new position with Family HealthCare Network’s Visalia School health center.
Dr. Wang is excited to live in a calm and peaceful new home city like Visalia, and says she is passionate about serving populations of people who have been historically underserved. Dr. Wang speaks both English and Mandarin. Want is now serving patients at Family HealthCare Network in Visalia at 401 East School Avenue.
