We are now officially recruiting for our 2021 AmeriCorps Program Year. AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs, made up of three primary programs that each take a different approach to improve lives and foster civic engagement. Members commit their time to address critical community needs and this year’s focus is on the education of prescription drug and opioid abuse/addiction. Selected individuals will contract for an five month term and serve 900 hours providing education via outreach and in reach within our centers. We are currently recruiting six members to educate in the following communities: Fresno, Hanford, Visalia, and Porterville.
Serving as an AmeriCorps member also includes many benefits:
