Education services provided at Family HealthCare Network include
education and counseling programs for both individual patients and
in group settings. Health Education is provided using methods that
are culturally and linguistically appropriate. Health
Educators and Health Promotions Instructors provide Health Education
relating, but not limited to, Asthma, Breastfeeding, Childbirth,
Diabetes, Family Planning, Hypertension, Hysterectomy, Lead Poisoning,
Lower Back Pain, Menopause, Parenting, Pesticides, Sexually Transmitted
Infections. Additionally, Health Promotion Instructors provide prenatal
Health Education to expecting mothers through the Comprehensive
Perinatal Services Program.
