Family HealthCare Network was the first freestanding ambulatory health care center in Tulare County to be accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations!

Health Education services provided at Family HealthCare Network include education and counseling programs for both individual patients and in group settings. Health Education is provided using methods that are culturally and linguistically appropriate. Health Educators and Health Promotions Instructors provide Health Education relating, but not limited to, Asthma, Breastfeeding, Childbirth, Diabetes, Family Planning, Hypertension, Hysterectomy, Lead Poisoning, Lower Back Pain, Menopause, Parenting, Pesticides, Sexually Transmitted Infections. Additionally, Health Promotion Instructors provide prenatal Health Education to expecting mothers through the Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program.

 

Health Education services are currently offered at the following health centers:

  Visalia Bridge  
Visalia Oak Cutler/Orosi Porterville
Goshen Woodlake Ivanhoe

 

Family HealthCare Network currently has 13 locations throughout Tulare County of which 11 are clinical sites. Family HealthCare Network is a community-based organization governed by a Board of Directors, which is composed of community representatives and patients consumers.
