Pediatrics

Pediatricians at Family HealthCare Network are all Board Certified or Board Eligible. They provide comprehensive health care from the newborn period through adolescence. In addition to primary care, our pediatricians attend high-risk deliveries, consult in the Newborn Intensive Care Units of our hospital, and provide general pediatric hospital care.

	My family immigrated from Taiwan to America when I was ten years old. I went to the University of California, Berkeley and received my B.A. in Biochemistry. I then went on to Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine to earn my medical degree, and then to Good Samaritan Hospital/Winthrop University Hospital in Long Island, New York for my Pediatric Residency. After two years of private practice in Sacramento I am pleased to join Family HealthCare Network and to be serving the community.

	Dr. Henriquez was born in Barranquilla, Colombia and has been working in this field for almost 10 years. His first year of medical school was dedicated to a rural practice in his hometown where he attended hundreds of deliveries, took care of newborn infants, children and adult people. Hecontinued to work as a hospitalist until he moved to Chicago, IL where he completed his Pediatric Residency at Cook County Children's Hospital. He enjoys playing and watching soccer when he isn't on call.
