Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM)

The Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) program at Family HealthCare Network includes homeopathy, naturopathy, chiropractic care, clinical nutrition, natural hormone replacement therapy, ayurveda and mind/body therapy.

CAM refers to those health care practices, not commonly taught in western medical schools, which are either a complement or alternative to conventional or allopathic medicine.

The integration of CAM services within FHCN’s overall system will help ensure that each patient receives coordinated and holistic care for all their health problems and needs. A number of varieties of CAM therapies have been proven effective in helping people to cope with health and medical conditions.
